Health and wellness are a fundamental part of our community’s overall philosophy. From the very beginning, we set the Eight Dimensions of Wellness as our foundation for building a community of love, respect, and compassionate care for residents and our staff. With the rise in COVID-19 across the country, our team has made a commitment to strive for 100% vaccinated staff. Any new staff being hired will be *required to be vaccinated (or have initiated vaccination) prior to hire. This is important to us not only as a means to protect our senior living residents in our assisted living and memory care community but also our staff that are here every single day who provide care to these residents. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of quality care always, and this pandemic is no exception. As we work to follow along with global, national, county and statewide recommendations from experts, we feel that this is one thing we can do to help keep our community members safe. Every vaccine saves a life!
Ensuring that residents and staff can continue to enjoy the things that make them feel happy, including socializing, is a critical element of the overall wellness of a person. Without a balanced approach of implementing the Eight Dimensions of Wellness, overall wellness cannot be achieved. For example, if social wellness is lacking, then emotional wellness is too. If emotional wellness is not present, then that leads to a lack of physical and intellectual wellness as well. The cycle continues and that’s not what we want for our community. Therefore, we feel that by doing what we can to protect these Eight Dimensions of Wellness, we are staying true to what we promised those who come into our community – a Life in Harmony for all. To learn more about our commitment to care or to schedule a private tour of our community, we’d be happy to show you around and answer any questions that you may have.
