Football Season Scores Big at Melody Living

​Touchdown! NFL Football has kicked off and we can’t get enough of our beloved Chicago Bears. Melody Living’s assisted living and memory care community in Lake in the Hills hosts gatherings to watch the game every Sunday of the season.

Scientists believe watching football can bring physical wellness to fans. Studies determined watching four quarters is equivalent to a moderate cardiovascular workout, like a brisk walk. Studies also show a boost in your emotional wellness when your team takes over on the scoreboard. 

​This Sunday, Melody Living Lake in the Hills residents will meet at noon to watch the Bears take on the Browns. Bears linebacker Khalil Mack is a fan favorite and has been voted as the No. 23 player in the NFL on the "Top 100 Players of 2021" ranking.
