​While things may look a bit different than normal this year, we’re still ensuring that our staff and community residents are staying engaged on a daily basis with ample opportunities to enjoy. Our monthly community calendar is a great way for residents to enjoy stimulating their mind, body and soul through activities like BINGO, walking clubs, fitness programs, coffee cart pop-bys and even a wine club on Wednesdays! We also offer more relaxing social activities for those looking to enjoy a low-key experience like crafting and movie nights.

​As previously mentioned, Melody Living’s fitness programs and clubs are an excellent way to keep active year-round. Whether you are looking to follow along with an instructor-led program or want to spend some time on your own in the fitness center, there are ample ways to keep your body in-tune and well at Melody Living.

​Our food program is one of the fan favorites! Residents rave about our menu options and have shared how they can truly tell that our ingredients are always fresh. We take pride in being able to create a dining experience for seniors that they not only enjoy, but that truly takes into consideration their dietary and nutritional needs so that they can continue to grow and thrive to their fullest. Our culinary team works directly with our resident-driven Foodies Committee to determine the upcoming weeks’ menu items and plan out fun activities and experiences that the entire community can enjoy together. We also love featuring a spotlight resident and a traditional recipe that they and their family have come to know and love that can be shared with all of our other residents too!

Safety at Melody Living Lake in the Hills

While we understand every resident has their own desires and needs, we are proud to offer wholesome experience in our community that truly offers a complete continuum of care so that if and when a community member may need additional support to live life to its fullest, we are here to help accommodate them. 

We also offer 24-hour onsite nursing support, year-round, for that extra layer of security and wellness. We also offer integrated safety features into our community like our electronic key lock system that logs all visits to a resident’s home, electronic care records and call systems, a digital service tracker, digital healthcare integrations, credential pendants and even video enabled care which has been significantly beneficial during 2020 as more residents are choosing to stay onsite versus traveling to their doctor appointments.
