Bruce K. served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He worked mainly as a base photographer during his service and his favorite place he traveled to was Alaska.
Bruce says to people currently enlisted or going into service, “You’re going to make friendships, some will be lifelong and some won’t be, but make the best of it you can and enjoy.”
Mel W. served in the U.S. Army for nine years. He enjoyed traveling to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
Mel’s advice is to “Hang in there and you’ll enjoy your time because you’ll make a lot of friends wherever you go.”
Arthur H. served in the U.S. Army for five years as a first sergeant in the infantry division. His favorite place to travel was Japan.
Arthur would like to tell those currently serving to, “Make the best of it.”
