Lake in the Hills Resident Feature - Alice Vallese

We love getting to know every single one of our residents at our senior living Lake in the Hills community, and we want you to get to know them as well. This month, we are featuring our community’s assisted living resident, Alice Vallese.
Alice has four children, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Her husband served in the Army during World War II. She used to work in an office doing administrative work before she retired. Alice’s favorite hobbies are coloring and sewing, she especially enjoys joining our coloring events to mingle with her fellow residents.

​Alice’s favorite holiday is Christmas because it brings together her friends and family. She loves to celebrate Christmas because she is able to visit with everyone and enjoy their company.

​She considers raising her four wonderful children to be one of her special talents as well as one of her greatest accomplishments. Her favorite place to visit was Disney World. Alice and her husband used to visit together and she has great memories of their trips.
Alice and her family chose Melody Living because her daughter had heard good things about our community. When asked what her favorite activity is at Melody, she said she couldn’t choose, she likes them all!

​Alice’s key advice to others is “Be kind to yourself, you can’t please everyone.”
